I recently had some family in town. It was their first time visiting NYC, so they had many places they wanted to go see. Being a tourist anywhere can get quite expensive so I took them on a budget friendly tour of NYC. (Or what I like to call "ballin' on a budget.")
The first stop was One World Observatory at the Freedom Tower. Experiencing this 360 view of the city was a first for me. The elevator ride felt like it was taken out of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory specifically his flying elevator. The ride to the 102nd floor was just 60 seconds and it portrayed a time-lapse of NYC's skyline. I would've taken a video but I completely forgot how to take one. Talk about a major face palm. I did however learn how to take panoramas, which are my new favorite!
The view from the top of the Freedom Tower is breath taking! Really its spectacular, I would recommend everyone to go and see for themselves. You could see the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Brooklyn Bridge and even the 59th St Bridge. You can literally see everything NYC is made of.
