Halloween treats!

Hey everyone! Hope you have your costumes ready for tomorrow. I'm going to a friend's house but I thought Halloween would be a great excuse to bake something fun! So I bring you ghost shaped brownies and they're GLUTEN FREE! with white chocolate eyes. And of course if you want to make something super quick and easy you can make some popcorn drizzled with some chocolate. Alright now for the recipes!

To make the brownies you will need:

  • 250g butter (cubed)
  • 300g chocolate (I used chocolate chips you can use a bar and just chop it)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 110 g Gluten Free Flour *SIFTED* (I used Pillsbury Gluten Free Flour)
  • White candy melt for dotted eyes (Optional)

Preheat your oven to 350 Degrees F. Put your butter and chocolate in a bowl over a pot of water or a bain marie. In a bowl mix the light brown sugar and eggs. Once the chocolate is melted, mix it with your wet ingredients. Add in your flour, don't forget to sift it. Your batter should be ready. Fill in your pan to make regular brownies or you can buy some awesome ghost molds like these. Bake for about 15 minutes. Let cool and if you have some white candy melts you can dot your ghosts with eyes

Alright Popcorn time. This is ridiculously easy! All you need is Popcorn and Candy Melts. (I had white candy melts so I melted some and put it in a pipping bag to dot the ghost and the rest I added food coloring to make orange.) To make popcorn just get a big pot and some oil and throw in some kernels. Make sure to cover the pot since popcorn will be flying everywhere. Once it's down, salt to taste and drizzle some chocolate!

These treats are so much fun and super simple. Hope you have a fun and safe Halloween!
